German machine builder Arburg exhibited a total of 14 machines at its booth and in shared areas at Fakuma 2026. The focus of the showcase was the "Smartest Factory" concept: an integrated presentation of digital services, automation and AI-assisted production tools.

The booth featured the new 1000 e Trend model from the electric Allrounder Trend series, reaching an injection speed of 500 mm/s; the two-component Allrounder More 2000 running a 32-cavity mold; the Allrounder 570 A and 475 V, turnkey-prepared for medical and mobility applications; and the Allrounder 270 A micro injection machine, which molds hearing-aid filters weighing 0.002 grams. The vertical 475 V produced textured surfaces from recycled material while also applying a code to the parts that gives access to recycling information.

Yaskawa six-axis robots and Multilift Select units operated independently of the injection machine, each with its own control cabinet and a portable rControl panel. On the software side, the aXw Control StabilityAssist (predictive trend monitoring), FirstShotAssist (fast production start) and DoEAssist (design-of-experiments verification) tools were introduced, along with the cloud-based production management system AMES.

Tools like predictive process monitoring speed up the job of setting the machine correctly on the first trial — you can track the same logic manually in your own T1 trial with the T1 trial planner.
